Peer-to-Peer Fundraising: Do we Really Need it?
It’s November. You’re sitting at your desk with ten essential tasks on your to-do list and your end-of-the-year campaign requiring immediate attention. You’ve heard about peer-to-peer (P2P) fundraising but don’t know if it’s worth it for your organization or if you should just stick with the tried and true methods that have always worked.
If you ask, Do we really need to implement a peer-to-peer fundraising campaign? Then here is the answer.
It depends.
As with any fundraising strategy, the best approach is the one that your donors appreciate. For example, if most of your donors couldn’t care less about a Facebook fundraiser, you may not need to rush to add a P2P component this year. On the other hand, if your donors are younger, like to give online, or if you are trying to reach this demographic, then P2P strategies might be the way to go.
So, to help you make the best decision for your organization, we’ve compiled a list of articles on various P2P-related topics. Take a look; these resources may inspire you to incorporate P2P in your campaign.
